Brook&Lyn is the creative studio of husband-and-wife team, Mimi Jung and Brian Hurewitz. Founded in 2009, they produce original textiles, furniture, and art that express their personal vision of beauty and simplicity. Their work draws inspiration from fashion, art, and culture to blend the new and the nostalgic. Their current interests range from weavings to handmade one-of-a-kind wooden furniture to ceramics to housewares to jewelry.
As Brook&Lyn, they collaborate with private clients and brands on custom projects, applying their unique combination of experience in the arts and design to create beautiful pieces and experiences. They work primarily through commissions for architects, interior designers, brands, and private individuals. Their weavings have sold to collectors from Paris, Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles. The studio was formed in New York in 2009 and is now based in Los Angeles.
